My chosen song's Original video.

This is the original music video for my chosen song. 

I believe this video is not as good as it could of been, but there are some things about it that I do like very much. 
Firstly the music video is set in black and white, this seems to be very representative of the genre, however as indie-pop has progressed over time, it seems that videos have moved away from using black and white images.  
Another aspect I like is the due to the video being so short, they have paused the music after 'someday i'm gonna say the truth' this lengthens the video by 20 seconds. This also means that the video has given a more narrative aspect as the audience can tell that it is not all about the song itself. This idea could be transferred to my own work, as due to the song only being 2 minutes and 8 seconds long, this is not long enough for my final piece of work.
